Kaohsiung Pokéstop Hotspot: Cute Mascots Engage in Hilarious Battles

The Liantan flagship store of the Kaohsiung Products Pavilion has recently become a popular spot for Pokémon GO players, drawing crowds of visitors day and night.

Meanwhile, the true star of the Kaohsiung Products Pavilion, the Kaohsiung Agricultural Sprite Gaotongtong, also couldn’t stay idle—inviting Japan’s mascot BIZ BEAR across the sea to Taiwan for some Pokémon-catching fun. After getting their fill of catching, they even dove into board games, staging the cutest battle ever seen on-site.

Gaotongtong and BIZ BEAR took on three different board games in a row, making the games look tiny in their oversized mascot hands. They played with serious competitive spirit—even putting sticky notes on their faces when they lost (they were really going for it!). Their goofy energy was absolutely spot-on.
