From January 21 to 23, the ALPINE PRO (Alpine Pro) brand presentation and 2013 autumn/winter product order event took place at the Czech Embassy in Beijing. The new ALPINE PRO 2013 autumn/winter collection upholds the concept of “fashionable family outdoor” and expands its product lines for parents and children as well as couples, making them more suitable for the whole family to wear during outdoor activities. The biggest highlight of the new collection: the 2013 waterproof jackets use Nanomax fabric, offering stronger waterproofing and breathability—40,000mm waterproof rating, 80,000mg/3’24hr breathability, and RET≤1.5. The softshell series not only meets high demands for waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability, but is also soft and comfortable to wear, with lined cotton for extra warmth. It also caters to the needs of families on the go by offering matching parent-child or couple outfits, including men's, women's, and kids' product lines. Skiwear continues to expand its couple and family styles, using Primaloft and Thermo-cool fillings to provide warmth while minimizing the weight of the garments.

At the event, Alpine Pro China General Manager Tomas shared the brand’s philosophy and development vision.

ALPINE PRO (Alpine Pro), originating from Prague, is a pioneer in the fashionable family outdoor sports brand. In the early 1990s, Hrbek, then a university student, began designing skiwear with a paintbrush and had them manufactured in factories. His classmates loved the works of this amateur fashion designer and placed many orders. Since then, Hrbek and his best friend Fedos started conceptualizing ways to provide functional, stylish, and trendy outdoor gear for more families who love outdoor activities.
In 1996, ALPINE PRO was established, with a product line that includes outdoor clothing, skiwear, shoes, backpacks, accessories, and more, featuring a rich selection for both adults and children, providing complete gear for family trips. To date, ALPINE PRO has successfully opened over 300 brand stores in 28 countries across Europe and has become the official sponsor of the Czech and Slovak Olympic national teams. By the end of 2012, ALPINE PRO had reached 400 retail outlets in China and continued to expand its sales channels in 2013.
At the launch event, outdoor enthusiasts from the Czech Republic shared their experiences and insights about outdoor activities with their families. Family outdoor activities have become a popular lifestyle in Europe, allowing children to connect with and understand nature from an early age, while also strengthening family bonds in a relaxed atmosphere. ALPINE PRO is committed to promoting outdoor activities for the whole family. “The farther you go, the closer you become.” While enjoying a relaxing and comfortable outdoor life, it enhances familial affection.

Family outdoor activities are just emerging in China, but they have positive effects on children’s character development. A traveler nicknamed “Huoshao” shared her family’s outdoor lifestyle. ALPINE PRO hopes to become an advocate for family outdoor culture in China, encouraging more families to make outdoor sports part of their lives and experience the joy of exploring together—making life warmer, happier, and healthier.

The new ALPINE PRO 2013 waterproof jackets feature innovations in fabric, using Nanomax material suitable for harsh weather conditions such as cold, heat, strong winds, dust, rain, and snow. They offer enhanced waterproofing and breathability—40,000mm waterproof rating, 80,000mg/3’24hr breathability, and RET≤1.5. The Nanomax nano-porous PTFE membrane is approximately 0.03 microns in size and 10–50 microns thick, even smaller than common microporous membranes, and its resistance to hydrostatic pressure is significantly higher than that of other market competitors. The fiber particles allow 96% of moisture vapor to pass through, offering perfect protection, ultra-high durability, and high oil resistance.

The softshell series meets high demands for waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability, while being soft, comfortable, and lightweight with better functionality. For family outings, ALPINE PRO offers men's, women's, and children's product lines. YKK waterproof zippers enhance the overall waterproof performance of the garments. The composite fabric combined with Windbarrier film provides 8,000mm waterproofing. DWR technology further improves water resistance, and the ultra-light fleece lining offers extra warmth without adding weight. Laser heat-press technology makes the products sleek and premium, while the inverted trapezoidal structure of the inner sole enhances mobility. The SSS tightening system, zipper pulls, cuff Velcro, and hand-warming pockets showcase the designers’ attention to detail. Ergonomic 3D tailoring makes the garments more suitable for movement, delivering outstanding performance in various outdoor activities and weather conditions.

The 2013 skiwear enhances functionality, becomes more fashionable, features trendier designs, and continues to expand its couple and family styles. The fillings use Primaloft and Thermo-cool to ensure warmth while minimizing garment weight. The fabric surfaces are treated with DWR super water-repellent technology to maximize windproof and waterproof performance.

The 2013 footwear line has also been innovated. Designers developed a unique sole using integrated control technology. The asymmetric sole maximizes slip resistance and durability on rough terrain. EVA cushioning materials in the midsole and outsole reduce impact during movement. Enhanced support reduces foot fatigue and injury, and improves heel stability during sports, providing comfortable protection for your feet during outdoor activities.
