The “Touch the KYUSHU Kyushu Products Exhibition” will open on September 1st, and on that day, Kumamon “in person” will be exclusively invited to appear and interact closely with attendees. The first 50 visitors to the exhibition will also receive an exclusive limited-edition opening commemorative gift bag.

The organizers stated that although parts of Kyushu were affected by the Kumamoto earthquake in April this year, the region has been gradually recovering. To show the people of Taiwan that Kyushu has regained its former vitality, a special 14-day Kyushu Products Exhibition is being held. In addition to inviting Kumamon, the minister, the event will showcase and sell a variety of limited-edition gourmet foods, fine wines, and exquisite crafts specially air-freighted to Taiwan, allowing visitors to personally experience the diverse and rich charm of Kyushu.
