Taiwan’s “Mini Gassho Village” has emerged — an entire settlement embraced by mountains, presenting a serene and beautiful scene. Photographer “Flying in the Sky” captured aerial footage of Deniana in Laiji, Chiayi, showcasing this mini Gassho Village, leaving viewers in awe.

Located in Laiji, Chiayi, Deniana means “a flat and safe land away from the riverbed” in the Tsou language. It was once the residential area of the tribe’s ancestors. After Typhoon Morakot, permanent homes with sloped roofs were built in the area.

The houses nestled among the mountains, built along winding roads, form graceful lines. Surrounded by mountains, Deniana truly bears a resemblance to Japan’s Gassho Village when seen from above — both are embraced by mountains, feature beautiful houses, and exude a peaceful, idyllic atmosphere.
