The Austrian snowboard brand Blizzard has a history of 65 years. Its R&D center is still located in Mittersill, in southern Austria, where the brand originated. Each year, the professional R&D team stationed here and the state-of-the-art automated production line deliver the latest technology and around 300,000 snowboards and bindings to skiers around the world. In 2006, Tecnica Group, one of the world’s largest sporting goods manufacturers, acquired Blizzard and integrated it with its equally renowned Tecnica ski boots under a unified business operation.
