The Stanley brand turned 100 in 2013. In 1913, Willam Stanley invented the world’s first insulated water bottle with a double-walled stainless steel structure, ending the era when only glass-lined bottles could keep liquids hot or cold.
The event took place at 10:30 AM on February 28, 2013, at the Amphilon booth (No. 2.401) during the ISPO Beijing exhibition. Amphilon is a distributor of multiple European and American brands. To gain a deeper understanding of the Stanley brand, numerous outdoor media representatives gathered to attend this unique media meet. The owner of the Stanley brand, Pacific Marketing International (also known as Pemi), is a professional insulated product company headquartered in Seattle, USA. The media meet was hosted by JoAnne, the Stanley marketing manager from Pemi’s U.S. headquarters. During the event, JoAnne presented the Stanley Centennial Whiskey to the journalists, followed by a concise introduction to the characteristics of Stanley’s three product lines: Classic, Adventure, and Mountain. The Classic line is renowned for its iconic green leather-textured bottle design and long-lasting durability. The Adventure line is characterized by its essential features and portability, while the Mountain line is suitable for various extreme outdoor activities as well as everyday use. To allow attendees to better experience the distinct qualities of each product line, JoAnne provided detailed explanations using products from all three lines.
*Classic Series = Timeless + Durable

*Adventure Series = Rugged + Essential

*Mountain Series = Professional + Versatile

In this highly commemorative centennial year, the Stanley brand proudly launched a limited-edition classic insulated bottle to celebrate its 100th anniversary.

A variety of distinctive classic designs caught the attention of attending media, who eagerly passed them around for a closer look. After the event, several journalists shared their experiences using Stanley products.
Starting this year, Beijing Amphilon will collaborate closely with Stanley on a globally unified marketing strategy. It is believed that more consumers will be able to truly experience the charm of this century-old brand’s products.
