The character for “three” in “三八” (March 8th) is also the first stroke of the Chinese character for “spring,” making it an ideal time for planting flowers and trees. With both International Women’s Day and “3・12” National Tree Planting Day approaching, Qingliangzhai Scenic Area is pulling out all the stops to create a joyful festive atmosphere for women and provide a unique stage for Arbor Day. From March 8th to 17th, the scenic area will host the “Spring Outing & Cherry Blossom Planting to Leave a Lasting Legacy” event.
　　When the holiday coincides with the weekend, while planning an exciting day for women, we certainly haven’t forgotten our precious little princesses. Girls, get ready to celebrate an unforgettable holiday together.
　　Spring outings, flower appreciation, garden strolls, and tea picking; plant cherry blossom trees and harvest early spring tea. During the event, groups, families, or individuals entering the park may voluntarily receive cherry blossom saplings to personally plant in designated scenic spots. They can choose from a variety of tree types such as “Prosperity Blooms – Family Bliss,” “Youth Eternal – Season of Flowers,” “Love Testimony – Couple’s Cherry,” “Growing Together with Little Sakura,” and “Evergreen Mountains – Golden Years.” Hang a red ribbon with your name on it to express heartfelt wishes.
