The unforgettable "Five-Sensory Journey of Beidahu Ice and Snow Resort," as the annual flagship thematic series event of Beidahu Ski Resort spanning five months, has included the four segments: the "Passion Discovery Journey," the "Heart-Pounding Special Offer Journey," the "Wonderful Vacation Journey," and the "Powdery Snow Thrill Journey." These have received widespread acclaim and praise from skiers across the country.
As the most iconic event of Beidahu Ski Resort over the years, the 3rd International Ski Carnival has now entered its third year. This edition of the "Colorful 'Five-Sensory Journey' 3rd Beidahu International Ski Carnival" has come to a perfect close and has received unanimous praise from both industry insiders and the public. The atmosphere at the event was extraordinarily lively. According to statistics, nearly 300 people from Beijing alone attended the scene to take part in this unprecedented extravaganza.
The event was hosted by Beidahu Ski Resort and passionately organized by Lingdong Shanshui Marketing Consulting Agency, with strong support from multiple industry and non-industry media such as Green Field Outdoor Network, Outdoor Data Network, Snowboard Zone, and Yidong Network, as well as the collaboration of several top international outdoor ski brands. The novel and unique programs, intense competitions, and electric atmosphere on-site made the end-of-season Beidahu exceptionally enchanting.
Ladies Showcase True Style – Women Outshine the Men
This year’s ski carnival was quite innovative, breaking away from the usual weekend format and lasting a full week, giving skiers a continuous sensory overload.
From March 4th to 8th, the Colorful Carnival Week — from Wednesday to Friday — allowed ladies to enjoy three consecutive days of free skiing, with only a daily cost of 195 RMB per person for four-star accommodation in the Asian Games Village. During the event, the venue was bustling with energy and excitement, as female skiers from all over the country flocked to the resort. The slopes were filled with vibrant ski suits and smiling faces as bright as flowers. They vividly embodied the saying “women are no less than men.” Their agile postures, masterful techniques, and flawless moves left the audience in constant awe and applause. At that moment, Beidahu was no longer cold and wintry but radiated warmth like spring.
Beidahu Ski Resort also provided comprehensive services and support for female guests during these days, offering hot water and basic medications around the clock, along with other thoughtful and considerate amenities.
High Energy at the Event – Fierce Competition Without Compromise
To make it more convenient for skiers to participate, Beidahu specially prepared an all-inclusive "One-Price Wonder" heart-pounding special offer package. It offered one-stop thoughtful services including direct train access, shuttle transfers, hotel bookings, and unlimited skiing — all available for just around a thousand RMB (Beijing-Jilin round-trip train tickets + shuttle service + one entry ticket + two-day weekend skiing + one night at a four-star hotel + carnival dinner, only 1150 RMB, with an additional 150 RMB to upgrade to a five-star resort hotel).
Not only were the prices attractive, but the competitions were even more thrilling. On March 9th and 10th, during the Apocalypse Snow V Bingjie Art? Event, participants could choose different styles of performances according to their team categories and use musical instruments as part of their acts. In the end, they showcased their talents on stage.
The competition was intense, with team members geared up and ready to go, dressed in colorful outfits and riding uniquely styled, brightly colored snowboards as they sped down the course with agility and finesse. In addition, teammates cheered loudly from the sidelines for their fellow competitors, creating a fiery and highly competitive atmosphere with evenly matched teams.
By the time of the evening gala, the atmosphere had reached its boiling point. Skiers on-site gave it their all with unforgettable performances, featuring multiple highlights. The act "Calabash Kids" from the "Beijing Snowman Club" took the stage and instantly electrified the crowd. Performers dressed in classic Calabash Kids costumes danced passionately and struck various poses on stage, drawing waves of cheers and screams. Some enthusiastic attendees even rushed onto the stage to take photos, creating a mini climax. Beyond the energetic dances and quirky acts, one individual left a deep impression on everyone. He was a middle-aged military veteran, a former test pilot for the nation and a former announcer for a military program on China Central Television. With his deep voice, he delivered a poetry recitation of "Farewell to Cambridge Again" to the delight of the audience. At that moment, emotion welled up in everyone’s heart, and a joyful, harmonious atmosphere filled every corner of Beidahu Ski Resort.
Happy times always fly by, and the two-hour gala came to an end. Ultimately, the Happy Ski Group ranked first overall and won the championship trophy of the 3rd Beidahu International Ski Carnival and the Apocalypse Snow V Bingjie Art? Event. Each member received a valuable prize worth several thousand RMB sponsored by multiple brands.
