On April 6, 2013, the opening ceremony of Mammut's first retail store in China was held at the Sanfo Outdoor Madianqiao store in Beijing. The event marked the official entry of the Mammut brand into China’s outdoor market. Mr. Lin Zhengsheng, Sales and Marketing Director of Mammut China, Ms. Zhang Jingwei, General Manager of the Textile Division at Gore, Mr. Zhang Heng, General Manager of Sanfo Outdoor, as well as representatives from over 20 domestic outdoor and travel media outlets attended the ceremony.
Mammut plans to open more retail stores in other Chinese cities throughout the year
