The 4-day heliskiing group, made up of domestic skiing pros Shen Lang, Lao Shi, Yin Sheng, Mao Mao, Shenyang Lao Li, and Ling Zi (a female snowboarder), assembled at the Sandman Hotel in Revelstoke, a key inland ski destination in BC, on March 30. At 11:30 AM, they were transported by car from Mica Heli to the company's office. After a brief overview of the guidelines, they were flown by helicopter to the mountaintop ski base.
Mica Heli has been consistently ranked by skiing magazines as one of the best heliskiing operators in BC in recent years. This is a company that specializes in small group skiing, with one guide assigned per four skiers. Typically, their packages run for four days, with prices around 7,700 CAD during peak season (early January to late March). Their base is located atop remote mountain peaks, accessible only by helicopter (pretty wild).
Since I did not participate, this report may be somewhat biased and is compiled mainly from interesting anecdotes shared by participants—please bear with it.

The above photos are selected from Mao Mao’s collection. He said: “The helicopter took us to the mountaintop lodge. As for the scenery, I dare not comment—afraid of getting brickbats.”
The actual skiing started on March 31 and ended on April 3. On that day, they took the helicopter down the mountain and began their journey back to Vancouver, flying back to Beijing on April 5.
Follow-up reports depend on the enthusiasm of my correspondent.
