The International Wilderness Medical Associates (WMAI) has developed, over the past 30 years, emergency medical response courses covering risk management in wilderness environments, prolonged patient care in the field, and the improvisation of medical equipment in harsh conditions. To date, WMAI has trained a large number of seasoned wilderness first aid experts worldwide. This time, WMAI is making an exception by conducting its first-ever instructor selection in Asia. Those who successfully complete the course will be awarded the qualification of WMAI Assistant Instructor and will be eligible to teach alongside senior instructors. DJ, the “father of wilderness medicine,” owner, and founder of WMAI, will make a rare appearance in China to personally share the principles of international wilderness medicine.
