At around 9 a.m. on the day of the event, the four main teams assembled punctually under the early-rising blazing sun, with the HALTI brand also organizing its employees to take part. The appearance of hiking expert Teacher Lei Diansheng added significant luster to the Green Mountains Action. His extraordinary experiences from a decade of trekking deeply impressed many of the participants. In addition to sharing his years of insights on hiking and environmental protection, Teacher Lei also presented certificates and prizes to outstanding public welfare team leaders, encouraging all Green Mountains members to care about the environment and contribute to the green mountains and clear waters around them.
Although there was a limit on the number of registrants, many “extra” participants still showed up at the scene. Quite a few even brought their own extra garbage bags, which they adorned with the environmental logo of the Green Mountains Action on both sides, ready to make a big impact during this event. Even the scorching weather seemed to pale in comparison to the enthusiasm of the Green Mountains team members, who joyfully earned patches of green shade and lush mountains through their sweat and labor.
