Climbers traverse North America scaling cable routes across cliffs and canyons

　　In 1980, an avid mountaineer who had led international climbing expeditions developed this cable route — Smugglers' Notch, as it's known locally — which has since become a beloved destination for families across North America. To tackle this challenge, climbers need to prepare climbing and rafting gear. After navigating through Brewster Canyon, you’ll encounter a 75-foot (22.9-meter) waterfall cascading over a pebble-strewn river. Along the way, climbers will traverse rugged gullies and canyons, scramble over boulders, cross rivers, and navigate above the treetops of the forest. Be prepared to get wet.
