The "Search for Pathfinders Around You" campaign, initiated by Pathfinders, has now reached its third edition. This year’s theme, "Have Braved, Have Lived," centers on finding everyday individuals who have bravely lived out their ideals. Compared to the previous two editions, this year’s event features significant differences in format, participant selection, and scale. In addition to emphasizing physical fitness and outdoor experience, this year’s selection process places greater importance on finding those with brave hearts. The goal is to inspire more people to forge their own life paths through the courageous stories and persistent dreams of these individuals.
The first stop, the Ultimate Majesty Destination Mount Everest, and the second stop, the Ultimate Spirit Destination Baima Snow Mountain, have both been successfully completed under the guidance of Pathfinders mentors Wang Jing and Chen Liangzhong, respectively. The fourth stop, the Ultimate Sacred Destination Kawagarbo, is currently open for online registration on the official Pathfinders website. This leg will be led by Mr. Li Shuankuo, a pioneering researcher who has ventured into the Arctic and Antarctic four times, a cultural observer, and the editor-in-chief of Chinese National Geography magazine. Participants will journey deep into the Ultimate Sacred Destination Kawagarbo. They will witness some of the world’s most beautiful snow-capped mountains, traverse the unpredictability of life, explore indigenous villages to uncover nearly lost cultures, and experience outdoor activities such as hiking and mountaineering along the way.
