From July 9 to 13, the 2014 Spring/Summer new product order fair of Polar Star (Shehe) was successfully held at Jiangmen Yihao Hotel. Themed "Himalaya," the event showcased Polar Star’s 2014 Spring/Summer collection featuring the ethnic and cultural characteristics of the Himalaya through venue displays, model runway shows, and product presentations.

Mr. Lü Guixi, founder of the Polar Star (Shehe) brand, delivered a speech at the meeting.

A representative from DuPont gave a presentation on the brand and fabric.

The Himalaya, as the source of the cultural theme for this season by Polar Star, boasts a uniquely mysterious oriental mountain culture. Its streets and alleys are filled with peculiar temples, mystical totems, and vibrant colors, all reflecting traces of primitive religious worship and exuding a rich exotic atmosphere. At the same time, it is also a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Stretching 2,450 kilometers from east to west, the range starts in the west from Nanga Parbat, home to the world's largest rock wall, and extends to Namcha Barwa Peak at the great bend of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, known as the "Heavenly River." The main peak is Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain, renowned for its stunning and rare ice towers. The design team at Polar Star, driven by their longing and quest for the Himalaya, immersed themselves in the mountain culture, folklore, and mountaineering trekking culture of the region. Through the lens of travelers and personal insights into travel culture, they gathered thematic design materials and inspiration, which were then condensed into elements such as patterns, prints, fabric labels, and even tailored cuts in the new collection.
