Isaac Taipei Flagship Store Opens on September 14, Launches Limited-Edition Pizza Flavor

After the ATT 4 FUN branch, the Taipei flagship store of Korean-style American diner Isaac Toast&Coffee will open on September 14. To mark the occasion, a limited-edition “Pizza Flavor MVP Toast” will be launched, made with ham slices, mushrooms, and a generous amount of cheese—it looks super indulgent.

The Taipei flagship store is located near Exit 2 of the National Father Memorial Hall. Its exterior resembles a small restaurant, with about 30 seats inside where customers can dine after ordering. Wang Jiaxiang, one of Isaac’s partners, said he had visited Korea multiple times and fell in love with the taste of Isaac Toast & Coffee after trying it, noting that it was quite different from Taiwan’s sandwiches. He then gathered several friends to co-invest in bringing it to Taiwan, a process that took about two years to finalize.

To maintain consistency with the taste in Korea, all sauces are imported from Korea—even the butter and pickles. Wang Jiaxiang explained that Taiwanese pickles tend to be more American-style, with higher acidity, while Isaac Toast & Coffee’s pickles are sweeter, aligning with the brand's identity. As for the soul of Isaac Toast & Coffee—the toast spread—Wang noted that it too is imported from Korea. Besides being sweet, its most distinctive feature is its high viscosity, which helps keep the filling juices from soaking into the crispy toast and making it soggy.

As for future business models, Wang Jiaxiang said operations would vary based on regional characteristics—for example, they are interested in setting up takeaway shops in communities that offer traditional Taiwanese breakfast items. As for franchising, it’s something they can consider but not in the immediate future.

To celebrate the flagship store opening, from September 14 to 16, the first 50 customers each day who order any menu item will receive a complimentary Isaac specialty iced tea (one per person).
