The Eastern Coastal National Scenic Area Administration held the "2016 Moonlight. Sea Music Festival," part of its first-ever East Coast Earth Art Festival series this year. However, due to the impact of Typhoon Meranti, the originally scheduled "Swing Night" and "Chant Night" on September 16 and 17 have been canceled as a result of Typhoons Meranti and Malakas. The special shuttle service and the Moonlight Food Competition have also been called off.

Additionally, the Eastern Coastal National Scenic Area Administration will continue to present "Melodious Night" and "Ocean Night" on October 14 and 15, featuring performances by Golden Melody Award-winning artist Suming, well-known singer Chen Yonglong, Wild Ginger Flower Boys, National Dong Hwa University Symphony Orchestra, Necklace Band, and the band Maga Lihai’s Gaiying, among others, delivering captivating and exciting shows.
