From July 24–27, 2013, Shenzhen Himalaya Trading Co., Ltd. will participate in the Nanjing Asia Outdoor Exhibition with brands including Zamberlan, Vasque, Black Diamond, Outdoor Research, and the CDI family of brands. Booth number: C4800.
VASQUE is attending the Nanjing Asia Outdoor Exhibition with Shenzhen Himalaya for the second time. During this exhibition, Mr. George Brown, International Sales Director of the VASQUE brand, will present the full 2014 Spring/Summer product line for Chinese outdoor enthusiasts. This includes upgraded versions of trail running shoes like the PENDULUM 2014, the new low-cut style of GrandTraverse, and the Lotic water shoes specifically designed for mountain stream crossings, among many other functional series.

In 2005, Vasque officially entered the Chinese outdoor market through its agent, Shenzhen Himalaya. Even then, the person in charge of the Vasque brand stated, “The Chinese market is very important for Vasque’s future development. China will be Vasque’s largest market.” Thanks to years of unremitting efforts by both the Vasque brand and its agent, the brand’s influence in the Chinese outdoor market has continued to grow. China has become the best-performing region for Vasque sales outside the United States, and Shenzhen Himalaya Trading Co., Ltd. has been honored as Vasque’s Best Agent of the Year for multiple consecutive years.
The American professional climbing and skiing brand Black Diamond is one of the most well-known and respected equipment brands among outdoor enthusiasts, climbers, and skiers. It stands out with its extensive and professional product range, striking color designs, and continuous innovations in functionality.

Black Diamond grew from a simple backyard anvil and hammer into a multinational company spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia. With integrated design, production, and testing, it has held a leading position in the professional climbing and skiing equipment field for many years. In the summer of 2009, Shenzhen Himalaya Trading Co., Ltd. became Black Diamond’s sole agent in China. Over the years, the company has been committed to promoting the development of domestic climbing and backcountry skiing activities. Significant improvements have been made in domestic channel sales, marketing, and brand influence.

Outdoor Research, which received much attention at the 2012 Asia Outdoor Exhibition, will once again showcase a variety of high-tech outdoor functional apparel products.
The American professional outdoor apparel brand Outdoor Research has always focused on developing solutions and providing practical, functional gear for the various challenges outdoor enthusiasts face in the wilderness. It offers users a full range of outdoor products—from head to toe, inside and out—that combine functionality and comfort, including clothing, hats, gloves, storage bags, gaiters, and camping bags. Since officially entering the Chinese market in late 2008, Outdoor Research has shown strong growth momentum. In 2012, the brand achieved a breakthrough in color options, maintaining product functionality while also meeting the aesthetic preferences of fashion-conscious individuals, making outdoor activities even more enjoyable.

Zamberlan, founded in 1929, made its first appearance at the 2013 Asia Outdoor Exhibition after partnering with Shenzhen Himalaya in the winter of 2012. It introduced the LIVIGNO series, developed specifically for the Chinese market. The shoe last is designed to fit the shape of Chinese feet, and the waxed leather undergoes special tanning treatment for a no-break-in period. The longer lacing system allows for a more snug fit around the entire foot. These shoes are suitable for everyday use while retaining outdoor functionality, offering both lightness and high comfort. Also on display was the upgraded BAFFIN model. The new generation BAFFIN features a wider last that accommodates the majority of Asian foot shapes. The upgraded PU midsole provides improved shock absorption while reducing the overall weight of the shoe.
Zamberlan is one of the few footwear brands that still focuses its production in Italy. With a commitment to the highest quality standards, Zamberlan develops and produces outdoor footwear, making it one of the very few brands still using GTX fully taped waterproof technology. Its exclusive Vibram soles offer excellent support and cushioning, achieving the perfect balance of comfort and functionality to meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts.
Additionally, other well-known American outdoor brands under CDI—including MSR, Platypus, Therm-A-Rest, SealLine, outdoor tableware brand GSI Outdoors, and outdoor photography backpack brand Mountain Smith—will also make a collective appearance at this exhibition, offering plenty of highlights.
The international sales managers from the brand headquarters and the staff of Shenzhen Himalaya look forward to welcoming you at Booth C4800 at the 2013 Asia Outdoor Exhibition.
