In August 2013, the Humanities and Scientific Research Team of the Fengyun Society at China Agricultural University began their research in Motuo on August 1. After five days of visits, surveys, and inspections, they successfully concluded their research on the 5th. Additionally, as one of the special events for the “Fengyun Decade,” the team will depart for Pai Town on the 6th to conduct follow-up research visits.

Shen Yuxi, the head of the research team, said: “The villagers were all very warm and welcoming, and the team members were very dedicated to their research. We hope everyone feels this trip was worthwhile.” Team member Sun Zhixun said: “This research has broadened our horizons and increased our knowledge. The research report is already taking shape in our minds, and we hope to bring everyone a true picture of Motuo.”
The beautiful scenery of Motuo along the way, the spectacular Yarlung Tsangpo River, and the simple and sincere local customs left a deep impression on the team members. They hope the area can develop even better in the future. Thanks to the Motuo County Government for their support and assistance to the research team, thanks to Yuan Yugui, the deputy director of the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau and an alumnus, for his reception and care, and thanks to Wu Di and another alumnus Han for their concern for the team members.
The research team will set off for Pai Town on the morning of the 6th to conduct follow-up visits on the research topics from 2010, hoping for fruitful results. Goodbye, Motuo.
