On August 18, 2013, the Red Bull Open-Air Cinema, part of the 9th Beijing International Sports Film Week jointly organized by Red Bull and the Beijing Olympic City Development Promotion Association, successfully concluded at the Flag-Raising Square in the Beijing Olympic Village. Over the course of a week, the Red Bull Open-Air Cinema screened a total of 23 sports documentaries covering various themes from both China and abroad, among which the Red Bull-produced documentary "Odyssey of the Sea" about sailing hero Guo Chuan’s 138-day non-stop solo global circumnavigation, and the documentary "Heaven’s Gate" featuring wingsuit flying master Jeb Corliss flying through Zhangjiajie’s Tianmen Mountain, were both nominated for the 31st Milan International Sports Film Festival, known as the “Oscars of sports films.”
