At 11:00 AM local time in Aosta, Italy, OBBABA and Jin Feibao, accompanied by Mr. Miso, the Chairman of Tecnica China, went to the Aosta funeral home to pay their respects to the body of Chinese participant No. 1040, Yang Yuan, who tragically passed away during the Tor des Géants race. The Italian side treated Yang Yuan’s body with great care, dressing him in clean and neat sportswear, with a peaceful expression. According to the funeral home staff, the repatriation of the body will begin no later than next Thursday. A memorial event for Yang Yuan will be held by the organizers at 10:00 AM local time this Saturday.

At 9:00 AM local time on the 13th, after traveling through the night, Huangcheng arrived at the last major aid station, Ollomont, located 283.5 kilometers from the start.Aside from knee pain, he was doing well. We read out messages and support from fellow runners on social media to him, which greatly encouraged him. He said that the pain and fatigue could not stop him from moving forward. After seeing a doctor and taking time to rest, eat, and tend to his knee and foot issues, he set off promptly at 11:00 AM. There are still 48 kilometers to go.
