The carefully prepared Beijing stop of the “TECNICA 2013 Tor des Géants Sharing Session,” organized by TECNICA, was held at 1:00 PM on December 7, 2013, in the Academic Lecture Hall of the Beijing Sport University. The athletes who had triumphantly returned from the “Tor des Géants” race—Zeng Huafeng, Chen Shuwen, and Wang Daqing (Jin Feibao was unable to attend as he was overseas competing)—shared their race experiences and moving stories with the attending runners. The participants also watched a 30-minute documentary jointly produced by TECNICA and CCTV9’s “Ultimate Players” program, which brought the entire race experience of those days vividly back to life for all the runners. Many were so moved that they couldn’t hold back their emotions and shed tears of excitement.
In the final lucky draw segment, sponsors ISPO, MICO, Actionfox, the Valle d'Aosta Regional Tourism Board, and partners such as Men’s Health magazine and Vibram offered a variety of exquisite gifts.
Running is a sport, a way of life, and a reflection of self-worth. The “Tor des Géants” moved us—it elevated life on the racecourse, turned experiences into brilliance, and allowed passion to shine eternally despite the passage of time. And in 2013, we will especially not forget the spirit known as the “Yang Yuan Spirit”!
