On December 24, the first “Beijing Outdoor Sports Emergency Rescue Public Welfare Training” commenced in Qingshui Town, Mentougou District. Instructors from the Beijing Sports & Leisure Industry Association and the Green Field Rescue Team delivered training to over 70 personnel from various local units, including government departments, local police stations, the town’s emergency law enforcement team, and several village and neighborhood committees. The training covered basic outdoor sports knowledge, essential skills, disaster response, and emergency rescue for unexpected incidents.
It is reported that this public welfare training will be held in batches and phases across Beijing’s remote suburban districts and counties, as well as in selected universities and outdoor clubs. The program plans to directly train 150 organizations and 3,000 individuals, distribute 6,000 training manuals, and 10,000 sets of video discs. The emergency rescue online lectures are expected to benefit approximately 1 million people.
