Yesterday, the Siguniang Mountain scenic area issued an emergency notice on its official Weibo account, informing hikers that, as required, they must first obtain a "Mountaineering Permit" from the sports administrative authority, then register with the outdoor activity management center, and be equipped with guides at the required ratio before entering the scenic area. The management bureau will temporarily close areas unsuitable for outdoor activities based on weather and other conditions.
Regarding the temporary closures, a relevant official from the scenic area explained that factors such as weather mainly involve checking for low temperatures, snowstorms, or strong winds in areas like Peak Three and Camel Peak. Designated personnel will conduct patrols and monitoring, and once such conditions are detected, the outdoor management center will not process related mountaineering requests and will temporarily close these areas.
