And the 4th Mount Kailash Environmental Protection Campaign Has Officially Launched

The Apple Foundation also shares a profound connection with Mount Kailash. Since its founder, Ms. Wang Qiuyang, personally experienced the kora in 2003 and discovered environmental issues, she initiated the Mount Kailash public environmental protection campaign. This initiative has now reached its fourth edition, aiming to create a larger platform for spreading the concept of highland environmental protection, building more channels, and gathering more volunteers. Through participation and attention to this event, an increasing number of people have begun to understand Mount Kailash and the culture associated with this sacred mountain. Awakening reverence for nature, integrating environmental protection into travel principles, and reflecting the harmonious beauty between humanity and nature—these are what the Apple Foundation hopes more people will come to appreciate through this campaign. Environmental protection can happen anytime, anywhere during travel. Only by protecting every travel destination on Earth can their beauty endure forever.
At the event, representatives from the three parties respectively introduced the cultural overview of the Tibet region, the highland environmental protection philosophy of the Apple Foundation along with upcoming activities, and the collaborative concept and plans for the Horse Year Kora project. KAILAS hopes to use the Horse Year Kora Event as an opportunity to focus on the humanistic environment of the Tibet region through the act of kora. With a spirit of exploration, while immersing themselves in nature, they also cherish it, pursuing an environmentally friendly outdoor philosophy centered around harmony between humans and nature.
