The 2013 season of "Nikon Travels China," a nationwide large-scale trial photography event, is coming to a close. The theme we promoted this season was "Follow Your Vision, The Power of Moving Upward." "Moving Upward" is both a spirit and a belief — the drive that compels every photography enthusiast to pursue imagery; "Moving Upward" is also a tremendous force that leads us to hold fast to our beliefs; where light and shadow move with the heart, each shutter click captures the whole world; when "Moving Upward" becomes a positive attitude toward life, you too can find your own patch of blue sky amid the hustle and bustle of the city.

On March 29, 2014, the Nikon Travels China event arrived in Bengbu City, Anhui Province. In the afternoon, participants gathered one after another at the event’s meeting point — Bengbu Zhanggongshan Park. This park is free to enter, located in the southwestern part of Bengbu City, Anhui Province, in Yuhui District. It mainly consists of Zhanggongshan Park, Zhanggong Island, Zhanggong Lake, Jinjiang Grand Hotel, Zhanggongshan Hotel, and the leisure green spaces and service facilities around Zhanggong Lake. It is an important component of Bengbu’s tourism industry. In December 2009, it was awarded the status of a National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction.

Event participants took a group photo in front of the sculpture at the south gate of Zhanggongshan Park.

A large number of photography enthusiasts participated in this outdoor photo event, with more joining during the shoot. These participants were mainly local photography enthusiasts, with strong support from the Bengbu Local Photography Association. Of course, some of them were veteran users of the photography forum Xitek.
