The press conference for the 2014 China Fitness Mountains Mountaineering Race was held at Shangfangshan in Beijing
On the morning of May 30 at 10:00, the launch ceremony of the "2014 China Fitness Mountains Mountaineering Race," jointly organized by the Chinese Mountaineering Association and the Chinese Scenic Spots Association, was held at Shangfangshan Scenic Area, a renowned mountain in western Beijing.
Shangfangshan boasts a profound cultural heritage. With over 1,400 years of historical accumulation, it is home to the densest collection of cultural relics and the largest ancient pagoda cluster in the Beijing area. Various cliff inscriptions, steles, and murals compose a long historical scroll, making it a true cultural and historical mountain.
