It is reported that in Chicheng County, right next to Chongli, construction of the Xin Xue Guo Ski Resort is in full swing, where self-developed artificial ambient-temperature snow technology will be widely applied.
Unlike indoor ski resorts that use refrigeration to make snow, artificial ambient-temperature snow has physical properties extremely similar to natural snow. It can be blended with real snow or used alone, and has the same friction coefficient. In terms of environmental protection, ambient-temperature artificial snow can withstand temperatures up to 1,000 degrees Celsius and has a lifespan of thousands of years, significantly reducing the large amount of water resources required for refrigerated snowmaking. Previously, Xin Xue Guo submitted a PCT application for this artificial ambient-temperature snow technology, and international experts commented, “We couldn’t find any similar technology. Thank you for creating a brand-new way of life for humanity.”
The first phase of the Xin Xue Guo Ski Resort is set to be completed by the end of November or early December this year, with a total investment of 10.9 billion yuan. Once completed, it will become the only intercontinental ski resort within 300 kilometers of Beijing capable of achieving an 817-meter vertical drop over a 3,000-meter slope. The ski resort features 86 kilometers of slopes and is located just 130 kilometers straight-line distance from Beijing. With the opening of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Expressway, the drive from Beijing to Xin Xue Guo will take just one hour.
