With ten years in the outdoors and seven years of ice climbing, Zidi Yiyang is an extraordinary figure in the outdoor world.
"Distant Mountains" had its premiere on May 27 at the Beijing Green Field Zidi Salon special screening, and was shown on May 31 as part of the 2014 Banff Mountain Film Festival China Outdoor Film Program. It also launched its nationwide screening tour. On July 24 from 12:00–13:00 and July 25 from 14:30–15:30, "Distant Mountains" will be specially screened at the 2014 Asia Outdoor Exhibition. The large screen in the AB Landing Hall of the Nanjing International Expo Center will showcase the legendary outdoor life of this extraordinary woman during these times.
