Last updated 2026-11-08 — A fiery summer calls for a wild attitude, and the wildest place this summer is definitely Tujia. From July 29 to July 31, Tujia will launch its craziest ever promotion, with deals so explosive you can't even imagine.      The 2014 Asian Outdoor Industry Forum will be held during the Asia Outdoor Show (July 23–25) at Meeting Room B02 and the AB Registration Hall Stage Area of Nanjing International Expo Center. Organized by Nanjing Ningfei International Exhibition Co., Ltd., the Asian Outdoor Industry Forum has become a highly important and authoritative platform for industry exchange, providing support and services for releasing the latest industry information, sharing new viewpoints, and promoting innovative concepts.

For this edition, Ningfei has invited Gore to discuss the application of new fabric technologies in the industry. MOUNTAIN HARDWEAR will also join with internationally renowned mountaineering champion Liv Sansoz to introduce American mountaineering history and culture and share her personal climbing experiences. In addition, the forum will cover topics such as e-commerce development, apparel product testing, store design, and trends in the running and water sports industries.

Topic: The Positive and Negative Impacts of E-commerce on Multi-brand Outdoor Dealers

With the rapid development of online sales models, their significance in the outdoor industry has grown increasingly prominent. However, many companies still have concerns about how to adapt to the diverse and fast-evolving online retail landscape. To address this, Zhao Mengyi, Online Sales Manager of Sanfo Outdoor, will analyze various online sales models and the types of products they suit, offering targeted and professional solutions for the industry. Sanfo hopes to spark discussion at this forum and explore a path toward e-commerce models with distinctive outdoor industry characteristics.

Topic: Rejecting Toxic Substances and Ensuring Non-toxicity and Functionality in Outdoor Products

In light of recurring incidents of toxic hazards in textile and apparel products in recent years, this forum has invited experts from the National Textile and Apparel Quality Supervision and Testing Center (Guangzhou) to discuss potential toxic risks in outdoor functional products and explore solutions together.

Topic: Fashionable Outdoor: Visual Communication as the Soul of the Store

Stephen Cowles, Creative Director for Liberation China, will share insights on outdoor retail store design, offering the industry the latest international perspectives and practical implementation strategies tailored to China’s outdoor sector.

The Asian Outdoor Industry Forum continues to welcome professionals from all sectors of the industry to join the exchange, providing a more professional platform for industry dialogue.
