Recently, on July 23, 2014, the 9th Asia Outdoor Exhibition grandly opened at the Nanjing International Expo Center. EZON, China’s leading brand in smart sports watches, showcased its core new products, including the Bluetooth smart sports watch G2-Challenger, in the running zone of the exhibition. Following its trendsetting appearances at Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Show and the Shenzhen International Watch & Clock Fair, EZON once again shined brilliantly at the Nanjing outdoor exhibition. Its intelligent sports product philosophy instantly became a hot topic among watch consumers.
On the third day of the exhibition, July 25, GreenLight Outdoor Network had the honor of interviewing Mr. Ai Qi, Marketing Director of EZON China.

Q: With e-commerce sales channels booming and the rise of O2O (online-to-offline) models, could you share what new initiatives EZON is taking in this area?
A: We already have official flagship stores on JD.com, Tmall, and Amazon, and we plan to gradually launch activities such as running training camps to integrate with online platforms through O2O strategies.
Q: Can you tell us about EZON’s new plans for the second half of 2014 and beyond?
A: In the second half of 2014, our focus will remain on the running sector. We aim to make our watches more fashionable, slimmer, and easier to use. We will also enrich and upgrade our app software to be more engaging. Additionally, innovation is one of the driving forces behind our brand development, but it must align with our business goals—innovation for its own sake is not an option. Some of EZON’s upcoming moves are confidential, but I can say that while adhering to sound business principles, we will creatively enhance all aspects of our work, including brand communication. We will fully leverage the tools and opportunities offered by the internet era to grow and strengthen the EZON brand.
Q: Could you share your personal views on outdoor activities and environmental protection?
A: That’s something very close to my heart. Since entering the outdoor watch industry, I’ve gradually developed a love for outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and trekking. I’ve also gained a deeper understanding of environmental protection and started doing my small part. Most importantly, I hope that while we take from nature, we also give something back.
