It is reported that the fifth stop of the Shenzhen Himalaya Professional Staff Training Program will be held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, from August 13 to 14, 2014. Following its launch in Beijing in 2013, the "Professional Staff Training Program" has conducted multiple training sessions in Beijing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Shenyang. The "Professional Staff Training Program" is a long-term training initiative proposed by Shenzhen Himalaya, aimed at enhancing the outdoor expertise of professional retail staff. In response to the common demand from outdoor stores for improved professionalism and higher staff competency, but hindered by a lack of systematic training and communication platforms, Shenzhen Himalaya — a retailer primarily focused on professional outdoor products — promptly launched this training course. Terminal sales professionals from various regions also seized this opportunity to share their sales experience and insights.

The professional staff training curriculum is structured according to the product categories typically found in professional outdoor retail stores, covering topics such as climbing, hiking and camping, and outdoor footwear and apparel. The high-quality outdoor gear distributed by Shenzhen Himalaya includes equipment essential for climbing and trekking activities. Through detailed instruction on the brands and products it represents — including Black Diamond (BD) climbing gear, MSR, THERMAREST, platypus, and PackTowl camping equipment under CDI, as well as Outdoor Research (OR), Vasque, and zamberlan footwear and apparel — the program combines theoretical knowledge with practical experiences and addresses challenges encountered in sales. The engaging and content-rich sessions have garnered widespread acclaim within the industry since their inception.
