Last updated 2026-11-08 — In August, high temperatures hit Chongqing. According to the city’s meteorological observatory, temperatures are expected to rise slightly this week. Hot weather makes citizens more inclined to stay indoors with air conditioning, but prolonged AC exposure, due to poor air circulation and stagnant environments, can easily lead to symptoms such as nasal congestion, dizziness, sneezing, tinnitus, fatigue, as well as various skin...

Cycling is not only embraced by adults but also loved by many children and teenagers. However, public attention to cycling safety measures remains far from sufficient. Therefore, in 2014, the organizers of the Asia Bike Expo—Nanjing Ningfei International Exhibition Co., Ltd.—initiated and established the “Children’s Safe Cycling Public Welfare Fund.” By organizing children's cycling events across the country, they aim to help kids develop safe cycling awareness from an early age.

The first “Children’s Safe Cycling Public Welfare Fund” event will be held at the Nanjing International Expo Center. Nanjing Ningfei, in partnership with the “Asia Bike Expo,” will host an event on the public days of the expo (October 11 and 12) under the theme “Baby Care Action.” Kids will be grouped by age, and the “Family Challenge – Baby Challenge” will take place onsite. Through fun games, parents and children can learn about cycling safety together and also receive free children’s cycling gear!

How to register your child (choose one of the following two methods):

1. Sina Weibo registration

Dad or mom should post a message on their personal Sina Weibo account with the text: “2014 Asia Bike Expo, Children’s Safe Cycling Public Welfare Fund Event: I support safe cycling and join in protecting my baby,” along with a photo of the child cycling regularly, and @AsiaBikeExpo; then send a private message with “Baby Care Action - application for cycling helmet + child’s age + name + gender + contact info” to the official Asia Bike Expo Weibo account to complete registration.
