The golden autumn air is fragrant with osmanthus blossoms drifting from the heavens. Once again, the city of Nanjing will welcome a spectacular international exhibition — the 4th Asia Bike Trade Show. To preserve the beautiful memories this international event leaves in Nanjing, and to provide an outstanding platform for talented photographers to showcase their skills, the organizers of the Asia Bike Trade Show, Nanjing Ningfei International Exhibition Co., Ltd., have joined forces with Nanjing Simple Photography Salon to jointly host this photography competition. We hope photography enthusiasts from all over the country will gather in Nanjing during this most beautiful season, using creativity and their cameras to capture the dynamic moments of the event, freezing time and preserving the beauty.
As the sister event of Eurobike, the Asia Bike Trade Show has focused since its inception in 2011 on high-end bicycles, sports bikes, urban bikes, cycling apparel, and accessories. It is the first professional exhibition in China dedicated to the trendy sports bicycle market. The 2014 Asia Bike Trade Show is shaping up to be even more impressive, featuring not only cool models and equipment from over 460 well-known domestic and international professional bicycle brands, but also a series of rare and exciting special events, such as the Demo Day experience zone, luxury bike shows within the exhibition, professional BMX and fixed-gear extreme performances, screenings of selected films from the Banff Mountain Film Festival, test zones for road bikes and electric-assist sport bikes, fashion shows, and more. We believe participating photographers won’t have trouble spotting one unique and eye-catching highlight after another.
This photography competition is themed “2014 Nanjing · Asia Bike Trade Show Photography Competition — Capture the Action, Preserve the Highlights.” There are no restrictions on subject matter; participants can document and capture people and events at the exhibition. Both professionals and amateurs are welcome to join. To ensure image quality, participants are encouraged to bring professional photography equipment. The organizers will invite senior photography experts to select the winning entries after the event.
