"Gore Outdoor Hero Wang Xin: Risk Assessment is the First Step in Outdoor Safety"

    Wang Yunlong, Acting Head of the Training Department at the China Mountaineering Association, first introduced to the audience the outdoor safety philosophy of "Safe Outdoor, Enjoy Nature" promoted by the China Mountaineering Association’s "National Outdoor Safety Education Program" since 2013. He also explained specific preventive measures for various risks encountered in outdoor sports, using examples from recent outdoor safety incidents. Zhou Peng, a renowned domestic free climber and winner of the Asian Golden Ice Axe Award, shared his understanding of "scientific outdoor" through his years of climbing experience and research into continuously evolving outdoor gear and technologies. Zhong Qixin, world champion in rock climbing, discussed the sport of rock climbing and the safety issues that should be taken into account, advising all climbers to treat every detail of the activity with caution, as safety is the prerequisite for all enjoyable experiences.
