Do you still remember the sound of children reading aloud? The sight of them writing diligently, or the aroma of lunch served at school? When you’re full of ambition and dreaming of soaring high, there’s a group of kids who, even if they stand on tiptoe, might not reach the edge of a classroom window. They are the children from the mountains. In order to help these children expand their horizons and learn about the world outside the mountains, OneAthlete partnered with the “I Fly – Let Rural Kids Play Sports” public welfare project, initiated by Cui Yongyuan’s I Fly Foundation, to visit an elementary school in the mountainous area of Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie. There, we delivered sports equipment to the students and also called on more compassionate individuals to care for and support these children from the mountains, helping safeguard their future.
