The China Rock Midi Awards (Midi Awards) is an annual Chinese rock music award event jointly initiated by the Beijing Midi School of Music and many professionals in the Chinese rock music industry. Its goal is to fairly and impartially select outstanding Chinese rock bands and works of the year without any interference. The full name of the Midi Awards judging body is the China Rock Midi Awards Appraisal Committee (Midi Appraisal Committee). The judges of the Midi Awards are professionals who have long been involved in the recording, production, performance, music criticism, promotion, and other aspects of Chinese rock music, as well as fan representatives.
Recently, several members of the Standing Committee presided over a public vote count. Except for the "Standing Committee Award" and the "China Rock Contribution Award," which will be announced on-site, the nomination lists for the remaining 12 awards have finally been released. The final winners will be announced live on stage at the Tang Stage of the Shenzhen Midi Festival on January 1, 2015. On the first day of the new year in 2015, everyone is welcome to witness this glorious moment at the Shenzhen Midi Festival and cheer for the winners together.
