From December 5, 2014, to February 17, 2015, a hot spring experience promotion event themed “Joyful Hot Spring Journey, Health and Wellness in the Hometown of the Female Emperor” will be held in Guangyuan, Sichuan. The event will feature one main venue and three sub-venues. The main venue is located at the Empress Hot Springs in Gongnong Town, while the sub-venues are situated at the Tiansi Hot Springs at Jianmenguan, Jianmenguan International Hot Spring Grand Hotel, and Luting Hot Springs in Wangcang County.
Highlights of the “Hot Spring Experience Promotion Event”
During the event, in the urban area, over ten foreign models in bikinis will parade through the streets in four horse-drawn carriages. At the Empress Hot Springs, there will also be a mysterious and fun masquerade ball. Additionally, there will be a display of Tang Dynasty-style costumes of the Empress, artistic performances, exhibitions of unique tourism goods, and other colorful activities where history and modernity blend, and imagination meets sensory delight. This winter, invite a few close friends for an experience that nourishes both body and spirit.
Free Entry to Some Hot Springs
During the event, some hot spring resorts will also offer free admission tickets, allowing visitors to soak in the hot springs for free.
The Tangshan International Community in Gongnong Town is a brand-new hot spring community, with Tangshan being a hot spring club featuring over 80 pools. The Jianmenguan Tiansi Hot Springs is built to the national 4A-level tourist attraction standard, with a hot spring theme and supported by ecological garden landscaping. It integrates dining, accommodation, hot springs, entertainment, conferences, and leisure. The Jianmenguan International Hot Spring Grand Hotel, nestled against the mountain and beside the water with beautiful scenery, has a hot spring bathing center that can accommodate more than 2,000 people at the same time.
