The Korea Visit Privilege Card (system), a project jointly promoted by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, offers overseas VIP tourists convenience in immigration upon arrival in Korea as well as multiple-entry visas (up to five years), and partner companies (Shinsegae Department Store, Lotte Duty Free, Yonsei University Severance Check-up, Catholic University Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, BK Plastic Surgery, Dream Plastic Surgery, Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Seoul Ambassador Park Hyatt Hotel, JW Marriott Hotel, Lotte Hotel) provide VIP customers with exclusive benefits to promote travel to Korea.
Prior to this, on the 11th, the (Foundation) Korea Visits Committee, together with Korean Air, invited over 80 elites from politics, business, and other sectors in the Dalian area to experience attractive Korean makeup and fashion courses in high-end Korean tourism, and to gain a more intuitive sensory understanding of Korea’s charm through Korean performances and cuisine.
Han Gyeong-eo, Director-General of the Korea Visits Committee, said, “An increasing number of high-spending Chinese tourists are visiting Korea these days. It is essential to provide VIP-oriented services to enhance their satisfaction and encourage long-term return visits.” He also stated, “By enabling more overseas VIP tourists to experience premium Korean tourism through the Korea Visit Privilege Card (system), we aim not only to improve the image of Korea among Chinese visitors but also to stimulate domestic demand, achieving a win-win situation for both China and Korea.”
