On August 19, 2014, Zhang Yan, Gao Yang, and Ma Shanshan, as the champion team of the professional mountaineering category in the 8th "Experience Without Limits – Gore-Tex® Outdoor Dreams Realized," the first team to set off in the event, and the first-ever "women’s mountaineering team" since the event’s inception, realized their dream of climbing Dupozha Peak. On December 6, Zhang Yan, the captain of the "Women’s Mountaineering Team," appeared at the 2014 Gore-Tex™ Outdoor Dreams Realized "Road of Dreams" sharing event held by Wangfujing Department Store Group. She was joined by Zhang Jingwei, China Marketing Director of Gore’s Textile Business, Huang Haoqiang, Vice President of Wangfujing Department Store Group’s Business Unit, Li Chunhui, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Department Store, Gore Heroes, Wang Xin, Captain of the Mountain Rescue Team of the Ministry of Civil Affairs Emergency Rescue Promotion Center, Shiyi Lang, a renowned mountaineer and public welfare advocate, Cai Shi, a well-known humanistic geography photographer, Guan Shanfeidu, a humanistic geography photographer, travel writer, and self-driving adventure traveler from the Gore Outdoor Heroes IBE team, Geng Dong, a nature photographer, and other guests, along with VIP members of Wangfujing Department Store Group. Together, they reviewed the entire journey of climbing Dupozha Peak and shared knowledge about women’s outdoor activities. The officially launched "Women’s Outdoor Pocket Book," based on the trio’s previous mountaineering skills and experience, discusses "those things about women climbing" in aspects such as physical training, female psychological aspects of mountaineering, gear selection, and menstrual protection.

At around 3:10 in the afternoon, a magnificent "snow mountain" stood proudly on site, with the parchment of the "Women's Outdoor Pocket Guide" resting within it. Zhang Jingwei, Marketing Director of Gore’s Textile Business in China, and Huang Haoqiang, Deputy General Manager of the Business Unit at Wangfujing Department Store Group, jointly took the stage to ceremoniously unveil the parchment, marking the official launch of the "Women's Outdoor Pocket Guide." This also signified Gore’s collaboration with Wangfujing to jointly focus on women in outdoor activities and to pay tribute to the never-ending spirit of climbing and exploration.
