After more than a decade of popularizing mass skiing, from machine-groomed slopes to overseas powder snow, skiers have enjoyed various joys brought by snow. The ski mountaineering discipline has gained more attention from skiers and entered the spotlight, but its higher technical demands and risk level have deterred many beginners. In the 2014-2015 snow season, Nanshan Ski Resort joined forces with Trail Explorer, the China Mountaineering Association, and Black Diamond to create the “Trail Explorer Nanshan Skiing & Mountaineering Lecture Series,” providing a platform for skiers and mountaineers to exchange and learn, as well as systematically experiencing and studying ski mountaineering techniques. The training consists of three sessions, each limited to 10 participants. In addition, industry professionals are invited to share their snowy mountain stories with fellow enthusiasts, guiding them to find paths in the clouds. Trail Explorer has prepared tents, sleeping pads, Nanshan Ski Resort tickets, and a variety of gifts for you. Be a true trailblazer—snowy mountains are no longer out of reach.
