On January 1, the launch ceremony of the "Beautiful China - 2015 Silk Road" Tourism Year in Tianjin was successfully held at Happy Valley Tianjin. To implement the strategic vision of jointly building the "Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" through tourism development, the National Tourism Administration officially designated "Beautiful China - Silk Road Tourism Year" as the theme of the 2015 National Tourism Year. Although Tianjin has not been a major city along the Silk Road Economic Belt or the Maritime Silk Road in history, in 2013, Tianjin had already set its own tourism development plan and goals. By 2020, Tianjin aims to become an international tourism city and a tourism hub in northern China.

In 2015, Happy Valley Tianjin launched with a brand-new concept of "Expanding Tourism, Establishing Brand Influence," kicking off an imaginative journey as the inaugural year of its tourism brand. A series of concepts introduced simultaneously—including “Star Festival Brand Events,” “Cultural Innovation Ideas,” “Butler Premium Services,” “Smart Scenic Area,” and “Public Welfare Plans”—will be unveiled one after another in the new year. Throughout 2015, Happy Valley Tianjin will offer a continuous stream of exciting events, with the twin brand flowers of "tourism" and "joy" blossoming beautifully there. All of this gives us every reason to believe that the newly upgraded Happy Valley Tianjin in 2015 will be "newer, trendier, and more fun." It is not only a new landmark of Tianjin tourism but also a new tourism calling card gifted by the government to the city. It is a "dream amusement park" for children, a "fashionable romantic valley" for young people, a "great leisure and entertainment destination" for families, and a "joyful place in the bustling city" for everyone.
