On January 10, 2015 (this Saturday), the qualifiers for the 13th Red Bull Nanshan Open (the domestic division of the World Snowboard Tour) will begin. The qualifiers offer all riders an open opportunity to compete for World Snowboard Tour points, as well as a chance to advance to the finals of the international division and compete alongside top professional snowboarders from around the world—not only for more prize money and points, but also in a battle for honor and passion. Xiao Hu (He Wei), the highest-ranked Chinese rider on the WST, will receive a direct wildcard entry to next week’s event.
Competition Format
Each rider will have two runs at the competition venue (Nanshan Mellow Park), with the best run counting. The top three male Chinese riders (if not all top three are Chinese, the top three overall plus the top three foreign riders, up to six total) will qualify for the finals of the 13th Red Bull Nanshan Open on January 17.

Quick Tip:
Nanshan Mellow Park will be used as the competition venue and will be restricted to competitors only during the event. Other slopes at Nanshan Ski Resort will remain open as usual and will not be affected by the competition.
