     The “Celebrate the New Year in Full Swing” Spring Festival event has been successfully held for ten editions at Hengdian World Studios. For the 2015 Spring Festival, in addition to continuing the usual festive vibe, an even more “earthy” and “down-to-earth” “Hengdian Grand Temple Fair” is set to unfold during the holiday season. Stroll through the temple fair, sample local delicacies, step on golden bricks, and grab silver coins, red envelopes, and good fortune bags until your hands are full. This Spring Festival, Hengdian World Studios is all about — “getting rich” and celebrating the festive spirit.

Welcoming the God of Wealth – The fifth day of the Lunar New Year is the day to welcome the God of Wealth, naturally one of the most important days during the Spring Festival. On this day, Hengdian World Studios goes all out once again, inviting the Five Gods of Wealth. Starting from the God of Wealth Temple in the Guangzhou Street scenic area, they will parade around Hengdian Town and visit five major scenic spots: the Ming & Qing Palace, the Qin Shi Huang Palace, the Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, the Ming & Qing Residential Architecture Museum, and the Huaxia Cultural Park, where “God of Wealth Worship” ceremonies will be held. In the evening, these Five Gods of Wealth will be escorted by the “Hengdian Imperial Guards” to Dream Valley, where they will hand out generous red envelopes.

Live-action Experience of “Dragon Blade” – On the first day of the Lunar New Year, the period action film “Dragon Blade,” starring Jackie Chan, Hollywood actor John Cusack, Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody, and Korean pop idol Choi Si-won, will officially be released. The film was shot for over two months in early 2014 at the Qin Shi Huang Palace, which served as one of its main filming locations. Major props from the movie, such as the Roman chariots, were also created by Hengdian World Studios’ set design team. During the Spring Festival, Hengdian World Studios will recreate some of the movie’s scenes and props for visitors to experience — truly a unique highlight of the Hengdian Temple Fair.
