On December 27, the Land Rover Club joined hands with renowned outdoor brand Saint Floa for the sixth time to venture into Inner Mongolia’s Darinor Lake. According to reports, this three-day ice-crossing expedition is hailed as the off-road enthusiasts' New Year's journey for 2014 to 2015.

On the morning of the 26th, representatives from Saint Floa, the emerging outdoor online community 'Kalaqia,' the Land Rover Club, VIPs from Huitong Luhua Beijing Shikou Store, and other seasoned players gathered in Beijing to officially kick off the Keshiketeng Darinor Lake off-road adventure.
The 'Darinor Lake Winter Fishing Custom' has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and still preserves the Mongolian tradition of lake worship. A Kalaqia community member named Song Song told reporters that, as a product of the historical and cultural heritage of the Keshiketeng Banner, winter fishing carries and records regional folk culture, fishing and hunting traditions, and their development history. "The winter fishing ceremony is actually a grassroots event organized spontaneously by the Mongolian people. The fishermen express their gratitude for nature’s bounty through the ceremony, while also conveying their wishes and sincere hopes for a better life. In a way, Darinor Lake winter fishing also reflects how people in Inner Mongolia cherish the lake and protect the ecological environment."
It is understood that alongside the winter fishing event, the 8th Keshiketeng International Steam Locomotive Photography Festival and the 6th Darihan-Ula Silver Winter Camel Culture Festival are also being held. In addition to providing full outdoor gear support for this ice adventure, the Saint Floa brand has also prepared dozens of generous winter gift packages for the participants.
