
The list of winners for the 2014 China Outdoor Industry Annual Awards has just been announced! In thebrand category that representscomprehensive leading brand strength—the “Comprehensive Leading Brand Award”—brands under the China Outdoor Brand Alliance (COA) such as Toread, Kailas, Nobel, MobiGarden, Skogstad, The North Face, and Columbia all made the list, accounting for nearly 80% of the award winners.In 2014, these brands saw significant growth across the industry in terms of annual sales and number of retail stores, experimented with innovative channel formats, gradually expanded market share, upheld environmental protection concepts, actively participated in public welfare projects, and gained widespread attention for their creative marketing campaigns and events, demonstrating strong overall capabilities.
It is reported that this year’s annual awards involved a total of 495 brands and equipment entries. After careful evaluation by an expert judging panel composed of seasoned industry media professionals, industry associations, equipment enthusiasts, and the 8264 editorial team, nine major awards were ultimately presented, including the Industry Special Contribution Award, Comprehensive Leading Brand Award, and Single-Category Brand Award.

In the outdoor gear awards category, COA members also secured a strong presence. The 2014 China Outdoor Industry Annual Awards Equipment Award——Outstanding Domestic Gear Awardincludes: KAILAS (Kailas)'s Windproof Fleece Jacket (Yufeng) + Ultra-light Thermal Cotton Jacket (Sprite); SCALER (Skogstad)'s F5024011 women's down insulated three-in-one jacket; TOREAD (Toread)'s HIMEX Solar-heated Down Jacket; MOBIGARDEN (MobiGarden)'s Light Riding Tent.

These products combine originality, practicality, innovation, and effectiveness, representing the future trends in outdoor product development.
To promote the healthy development of outdoor sports and the outdoor industry in China, the “First COA Outdoor Summit Forum” organized by the China Outdoor Brand Alliance will be held on July 21–22, 2015,on the eve of the Asia Outdoor Showin Nanjing. At that time, leading industry brands, influential distributors, professional media, and well-known figures in the field will gather at the Asia Outdoor Show to discuss the current state and future prospects of China’s outdoor market.
