Strong Support for AA Leaders in 2015, Encouragement for Original Routes
On the evening of January 29, the HowToTrip 2014 Annual Awards Gala was in full swing, with hundreds of active AA leaders attending. During the event, HowToTrip recognized 50 outstanding users of 2014, including 20 excellent leaders, 20 outstanding moderators, and 10 outstanding members. This not only served to thank users for their support over the past year but also aimed to attract more talented individuals to join the community. At the gala, HowToTrip’s operations team stated that in the future, the platform will strongly support AA leaders and original outdoor routes and content. Through more online and offline interactive activities, the company will intensify its efforts in both content and route management, offering outdoor enthusiasts richer and more exciting experiences. Additionally, HowToTrip and its leaders engaged in active dialogue, gathering feedback on the platform’s development, with the goal of building a more interactive outdoor portal in 2015.
Outdoor Tracker Z1 Safety Hardware Debuts, Signaling New Industry Safety Standards
The HowToTrip Outdoor Safety Platform hardware “Outdoor Tracker Z1” made its first appearance at this exhibition and was available for pre-order on-site. The Z1 is a high-end, portable “Beidou satellite positioning and communication” terminal device developed specifically for outdoor enthusiasts. Compared to similar satellite-based positioning products, it is simple to use, compact, and lightweight, while also featuring rugged, all-weather durability suitable for outdoor activities. As a satellite communication product, the Z1 also offers entertainment features and safety assurance. Even in areas without mobile phone coverage, users can stay in real-time contact with others and transmit location data. Whenever and wherever help is needed, the precise location can be obtained quickly, ensuring timely rescue.
The Z1 hardware is the most user-facing device in HowToTrip’s outdoor safety platform system, serving as the “last line of defense” within the entire ecosystem, and also as a “lifeline” for users in distress during outdoor activities. With the explosive growth in outdoor sports participation, the Z1 provides groundbreaking safety assurance for outdoor trips, minimizing individual risks and addressing public concerns about outdoor activity safety. It also plays a key role in the broader “Outdoor Ecosystem” strategy. Furthermore, this year, HowToTrip plans to continue developing compatible communication hardware to further enhance the outdoor safety system.
A Myriad of Winter Activities Bring Joy to Outdoor Enthusiasts

Comprehensive Enhancement of User Experience and Product Services to Set Industry Standards
Having successfully passed the stages of organizing outdoor activities and market cultivation, HowToTrip is now advancing toward providing comprehensive outdoor activity solutions and establishing universal service standards. In this phase, ease of use and activity safety are the main priorities. Making outdoor experiences simpler, safer, and more enjoyable remains HowToTrip’s core mission. As an inherently O2O-oriented activity, outdoor recreation—moving into the new year—will see HowToTrip leverage its years of online resources to strengthen and expand offline services. The goal is to significantly improve the outdoor activity service trading platform and existing activity apps, with the ultimate aim of achieving the vision of “letting those who know how to have fun, love to have fun, and bring along those who want to have fun.”
