As the Golden Horse bid farewell to the old year with honors and the Three Sheep ushered in the new spring, the 2015 Spring Festival golden week concluded amid joy and harmony. The scenic area maintained orderly tourism operations, with no valid complaints or safety incidents, achieving a double harvest of social benefits and economic gains.
Compared to previous years, this year's Spring Festival golden week at Hongchiba Scenic Area presented some new conditions: the holiday began on New Year’s Eve, reducing the actual effective travel time by one day compared to previous years; snow on the mountain roads increased the difficulty of ascending. In response to these new norms, the scenic area adjusted accordingly—installing anti-slip equipment on mountain roads during specific time periods, reasonably adjusting maximum capacity, and implementing scientific and effective management of tourism order.
During the Spring Festival golden week, the weather was unpredictable. Although Hongchiba was accompanied by light drizzle throughout the period, the stunning scenery did not disappoint visitors. The misty rain added a refreshing quality to the air and a touch of spring to the snow-covered landscape. After the rain, Hongchiba revealed dazzling views that greatly delighted tourists.
