London, March 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- To celebrate the “Year of Mexico,” an interactive experience exhibition will open for two consecutive weeks starting Wednesday, February 25, in London’s Potters Fields Park. The exhibition takes visitors on an inspiring journey through Mexico. Shaped like a hot air balloon with a striking white dome, the pavilion is located on bustling London’s South Bank by the River Thames and surrounded by iconic landmarks.

Suitable for all age groups, the exhibition tells the story of Mexico in a highly innovative way using cutting-edge modern technology, delivering an unforgettable experience. Previously exhibited in Madrid and Beijing, this display will take audiences on a captivating journey to discover the most authentic and extraordinary aspects of Mexico.
Through interactive 360-degree imaging and augmented reality, visitors can experience thrilling rapids, take a hot air balloon ride over Mexico City, and explore the country’s world-famous attractions and vibrant cities.
Also on display is one of the world’s most unique artworks — the “Vochol,” a Volkswagen Beetle decorated with more than two million colorful glass beads. This masterpiece was created by eight artists who spent over 9,000 hours designing and adorning it.
Mexico also takes pride in its rich culinary culture. Notably, Mexico is the only country where its cuisine has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Therefore, if visitors find themselves feeling particularly hungry after exploring this vibrant nation, they can head outside the pavilion to sample authentic Mexican food prepared fresh by the renowned Wahaca restaurant.
