Several JiMi-themed electric buses hit the road! Via Su’ao Port and Tofu Cape — free for the first 3 days

Following the JiMi-themed buses in Yilan City, there are now JiMi buses Up in the Su’ao area too! To boost local tourism, State-run Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport Co., Ltd. has launchedthe “JiMi Painted Electric Bus,” which is free to ride from today until the 20th.

Unlike the diesel-powered JiMi buses in Yilan City, these newly painted buses are electric—marking a new milestone in green transportation. In addition, they feature a low-floor design for easier access by passengers with disabilities, while their exterior and interior designs are infused with a strong JiMi vibe.

There are three of these painted electric buses in total. From now until the 20th, there is a free ride promotion. Starting on the 21st, the fare is NT$20 for adults, NT$10 for elementary school-aged children (half-price), and seniors can ride with their senior citizen discount card. On weekdays, there are 20 scheduled runs; on weekends and holidays, 30. The starting station is Su’ao New Station, with stops including Su’ao Junior High School, Su’ao Port, and 10 other stations along the way.

Route: Departs from Su’ao New Station, passing through downtown Su’ao Township, Su’ao Port, Tofu Cape, Neipi Beach, Nanning Fish Market, and other stops, then circles around Nanfang’ao Fishing Port before returning.
